Movie Review, with free spoilers.

Things I really did like:
The brief drop into the Art Deco artstyle for one of the musical numbers. I almost wish the entire movie had been in that style, though it might have made it too hokey. The colors and style of that segment were just so lush and gorgeous.

Overall, I'd watch it again. (In fact, I am as I type this, with the audio-commentary on. The directors are a little deluded about their history of movie themes, and about their product here.) I'd have taken my hypothetical children to see it, and been glad of the opportunity to discuss the issues it raised with them.
