failure to succeed

So, I seem to have broken my computer. I dropped the keyboard off my desk, and this shriek started coming from both speakers and tower, and the thing froze. Turned it off, and it wouldn't reboot. The tower keeps screaming, not the speakers anymore, and I just get a screen that says "F1=setup F10=system recovery" but the keyboard doesn't work, so that doesn't do me any good. Trying a new serial keyboard on the machine didn't work, neither did letting it rest a full day. I'll try something else tomorrow.

One second thought, having coffee with dinner was a bad plan. It is a quarter to 4, I have watched eight episodes of Princess Tutu, failed to fix my computer, and failed to fall asleep.

I have to be at work in 5 hours.

Booooooooored.
